Gay Mens Chorus of South Florida The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida was formed in September of 2010 with a new vision and a new mission…..to bring high quality performances to our diverse audience, focused on the music and the message.
Our members have taken, and will continue to take, a vital role in formulating and executing our vision, mission, values, and goals for our first season and beyond.
We are committed to reinventing what it means to be a “gay chorus†to honor the rich history and the diverse past of the gay chorale movement while stretching to achieve new heights and chart our own course.
The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida is currently under the direction of Gordon Roberts, assisted by Harold Dioquino. They are planning a minimum of three major concerts each season. We will also collaborate with other choruses and arts organizations throughout the year.
Our commitment is to contribute to the community that nurtures and sustains us. We will do this by creating three community service initiatives each season. We know that being a member of The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida is not just about singing-It is about being good role models for our youth, giving back to the community, and offering a helping hand to those who need one.
The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida is a proud member of GALA the international Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses.
