Miami Guitar Trio

The Miami Guitar Trio, a unique chamber group in South Florida, was formed in 2009 and is comprised of Federico Bonacossa, Federico Musgrove, and Alan Nguyen. Their nationalities and ethnic backgrounds are characteristic of the diverse environment of the region.

Recent performances by the group include a commission by the Society of Composers, Inc. to perform a concert of original works written by composition students of the University of Miami. The group has also performed for the Sarasota Guitar Society and at the Miami International Guitar Festival.

The Miami Guitar Trio concerts feature a wide array of early to contemporary music including original compositions and arrangements. The groupâ€™s mission is to expand guitar trio repertoire through commissions, original compositions, and arrangements of music for other instruments.
